The Fourth Hotel
This is the memory of a special hotel, a caravanserai, that was once a blank canvas and a temporary home to three travelers: a humble prince, a banished magician, and a yearning poet. This caravanserai harbors a quality that distinguishes itself from others in a way that no person could comprehend; it feeds and grows on the visitors’ dreams. Within four days, the three travelers become aware of the strange nature of the caravanserai as the structure begins to project their dreams and convey them in a peculiar spatial experience. The architect of this hotel, dubbed “The Puppeteer”, exploits this special trait for their own creative greed to challenge the limits of the architectural setting as well as the travelers’ encounters. As orchestrated by the Puppeteer, various clues have been left around the caravanserai to inform its visitors of their unexpected participation of this eccentric journey. This is an evolving story that is woven from the remains of a dream.
